Teaching for the Day – Righteousness

A lotus can still grow in a swamp, therefore righteousness can still prosper even if it is surrounded by sin.

Thought for the day – Love All

Love can never be exclusive. The sun does not choose to shine on some flowers in the garden and not others. Love is inclusive and has many faces – caring, listening, sharing from the heart, just accepting someone for what they are right now, are all acts of love, as long as you seek nothing in return. It all starts with acceptance of yourself – you’re just fine as you are right now, warts and all. It’s not that you will stay that way for ever – but you might, if you don’t accept. The secret key to the greatest door called love is acceptance. First your self, then others (especially the ones you currently resist) and eventually …all.

Teaching for the Day – Meditation

Meditation strengthens the mind and leads to spiritual enlightenment.  When all spiritual chakras are flowing it feels like the Ganges flowing through the body.

Thought for the day – Totally Happy

My heart is full and open. Flowing with pure good feelings and good wishes for everyone. I follow my spontaneous instinct to give and I am totally happy.

Teaching for the day – truth and untruth

Truth = Things that are consistent and eternal, which is only God and the soul.

Untruth = The body, everyday life (maya), therefore do not worry about the untruth and focus on the truth.

Thought for the day – On Making Mistakes

Mistakes matter. How you recover from them matters even more. The best way to handle a mistake is to learn from the mistake. Then you’ll not repeat it nor ever be paralysed by the fear of making another mistake.

Thought for the day – Spiritual Love

Just as a kite flies high, held only by a string, our intellect can rise to the heights of wisdom, pulled only by the thread of spiritual love.

Thought for the day – No Complaining Zone

If you approach life complaining about what’s missing then you’ll be dissatisfied. Satisfaction comes from knowing that things can always be improved but at the same time appreciating what is right in your life, right now.
